A chess game with workers on one side and capitalists on the other
Mini Chess Los Alamos is a simplified variant played on a 6x6 grid. Each player has a king, 2 rooks, and 2 knights. The goal is to checkmate the opponent's king. Kings move 1 square in any direction. Rooks move horizontally or vertically any number of squares. Knights move in an L-shape pattern. There is no castling, pawn promotion, or en passant. It's a quick, tactical game with condensed mechanics, making it accessible yet challenging.
simple chess game, but figures are animals
Battle chess: a chess game where all of the standard pieces have strength, defense, and health stats. Capturing an enemy piece is not guaranteed: random rolls based on strength and defense matter, and a unit is not captured unless its health is reduced to zero or less. Units do not heal. A failed capture cancels the move, but leaves wounds in place. The goal of the game is to capture the king, which entails reducing the king to zero health or less.
