Battle chess: a standard chess game where all of the standard pieces have strength, defense, and health stats. The game is setup per normal chess. Pieces move according to the usual rules. Capturing an enemy piece is not guaranteed: random rolls based on strength and defense matter, and a unit is not captured unless its health is reduced to zero or less. Units do not heal. A failed capture cancels the move, but leaves wounds in place. The goal of the game is to capture the king, which entails reducing the king to zero health or less. The player moves their pieces with the mouse.
