Snake is a simple game where the player controls a snake that grows longer as it eats food. The snake starts as a small segment and moves around the screen. Each time the snake eats a piece of food such as an apple, a new segment is added to the end of the snake, making it longer. The player uses the arrow keys to control the direction of the snake's head. The goal is to eat as much food as possible without running into the screen edges or the snake's own body. If the snake hits itself or the edges, it dies and the game ends. As the snake gets longer, controlling it gets harder since the player has to avoid all previous segments. The game keeps track of the player's score based on how much food is eaten before dying. The snake moves faster and new food spawns more frequently as the game progresses, increasing difficulty.
